Volunteering in The Conservatory
Are you looking for a fun and exciting learning opportunity? Do you have enthusiasm for nature that you would like to share with others? If so, you should become a Volunteer at The Huntington.
Would you like to share the excitement of hands-on science with children? The Huntington's Rose Hills Foundation Conservatory for Botanical Science needs enthusiastic Volunteers to help us facilitate this new adventure in learning.
There are a variety of jobs, from orienting visitors and checking out learning materials, to leading hands-on activities that use real plants and scientific equipment, to propagating rare plant specimens.
No previous experience needed, but you must able to commit to at least 2 hours of work per week.
For more information and an application please contact Mikki Heydorff, Volunteer Programs Manager, by email at mheydorff@huntington.org or by phone at 626-405-2126.
