We cannot emphasize too strongly the importance of recording the time you spend here at The Huntington as described in the November-December 2004 edition of Subrosa, and for Docents to record the number of visitors with whom they have meaningful contact in the Gardens. Programs that are beneficial to both the public and The Huntington are very often developed for areas based on the interaction between our Volunteer corps and our visitors.
Clair Martin, E. L. and Ruth B. Shannon Curator of the Rose and Perennial Gardens
