The Great Rosarians of the World Lecture
The nineth in the lecture series, Great Rosarians of the World, will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Friends Hall. Our honorees will be Stephen Scanniello and Marilyn Wellan.

Rose Garden Centennial Lecture Series
As part of the 100th Anniversary of The Huntington Rose Garden we have scheduled a lecture series featuring a group of distinguished rosarians.
Space is limited so advanced reservations are strongly recommended.

Most Centennial Lectures will be held in the Ahmanson Classroom in the Botanical Center but several will be held in other facilities at The Huntington so please check each event for its location.

September --Friends' Hall
2:00 PM -- Sunday, September 28, 2008 -- Michael Marriott, David Austin Roses Ltd., UK -- "Landscaping with Roses" - Marriott will present his program illustrated with rose garden designs he and the Austin firm have produced around the world. Marriott will also share his extensive knowledge of English Roses and how to grow them in Southern California.

November -- Ahmanson Classroom
2:00 PM -- Sunday, November 16, 2008 -- Dani Hahn, owner of Rose Story Farm, Carpenteria, CA, will present an illustrated program on her unique rose garden and cut flower production farm. Hahn's farm produces field grown garden roses for the florist trade.
